The launching  ceremony  of bike stations «Shymkent Bike» was held in the  Al-Farabi square with the participation of akim of the city Gabidulla Abdrahimov.  The representatives of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" and the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation specially came for this in Shymkent , with whom the akimat of Shymkent  launched the project.
       Akim of Shymkent city Gabidulla  Abdrahimov adressed with a welcoming speech to the participants of the sports event :
- Dear residents and guests of Shymkent! I congratulate you on the opening of the first  cycling rental stations in the city ! In developed countries, residents of megapolises have successfully used two-wheeled transport. This solves the problem of traffic jams, reduces the number of accidents on the roads. Besides, cycling improves health. The transition to the use of bicycles - a global trend, and Shymkent should not stay behind. Launching the project «Shymkent Bike» -  is one more step in the development of our native city. We express our gratitude to the Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" and the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation for their support of this project.

 The representatives of "Samruk-Kazyna" (U Tazhibayev, E. Darimov, N. Urazaliev), Nationwide Movement "Kazakhstan-2050" (D. Zhumin) and the Kazakhstan Cycling Federation (D. Kaletayev) congratulated the citizens with the event .
